Have you ever found yourself driving at a snail's pace behind the proverbial slow Buick out for a Sunday drive? This photo was snapped early today at the vehicle check-in for the Dayton (Ohio) Concours d'Elegance and not on a a public road. But it very well could have been because Robert Anderson drove his 1918 Buick E-49 about 20 miles to the show site.
Jalops have surely encountered jalopies on the open road, but can anyone top this odd couple of automotive technology?
Here's a video showing the Buick motor running. Push rods, rocker arms tappets are external to the engine.
